AC93
Hi, Just swapped my aftermarket wheels for 17" OEM's and would like new nuts. I've found the following on eBay, they look correct but just wanted to double check. Or can they be had cheaper elsewhere, or avoided at all costs? Toyota want £5.50 + VAT for each one, so £132 for 20 https://www.ebay.co.uk/i/232368534424 Cheers,
AC93
Just seen these on Eurocarparts, anyone had experience with these? http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/c/Toyota_Supra_3.0_1994/p/car-parts/transmission-parts/car-transmission/wheel-bolt-and-wheel-nut/?924730090&1&f113e33feea926515e6c7d603560e2a7a57243a3&000866
Dnk
I'd be concerned about the ebay ones, the material listed just says toughened steel, i'd rather see what they are made of specifically This advert is better but no idea if they are any better than others listed, personally unless i found OE or OEM quality i'd suffer buying Toyotas http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Set-of-20-x-M12-x-1-5-21mm-Hex-Flat-Seat-Toyota-Alloy-Wheel-Nuts-Silver/172023180427?_trkparms=aid%3D888007%26algo%3DDISC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D46150%26meid%3D108be54f8b6c42558f44f7976e63c6c4%26pid%3D100009%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D1%26sd%3D130679954320&_trksid=p2047675.c100009.m1982 Edited September 20, 2017 by Dnk (see edit history)
AC93
Thanks for that! I went to ECP and it was just gold nuts, no washer and nothing like an OEM nut!

Marty
I had the same quandary last year, i ended up buying these off eBay so i could fit my Uk specs over winter... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/16-x-original-spec-M12-x-1-5-21mm-Hex-flat-Seat-O-E-style-alloy-wheel-nuts-lugs-/261863512106?hash=item3cf848182a:g:XWQAAOSwqu9VOOsy 16 due to having 4 locking wheel nuts. Quality wise they are just fine, solid construction and no signs of corrosion etc over a full winters use.

samdale
I will have a look to see if I have 20 spare! That'll be great if you have. Even better if they can be posted pronto. I need to buy tyres and don't want to buy any for the aftermarket wheels on there currently. I'm going away in it a week on Saturday
