Guest Del1981
Can't quite believe how much hate I'm getting for having a non turbo auto supra . ( not on here btw ) .

Frank Bullitt
Who gives a shit? You've got a MKIV Supra. Yeah, but it is an auto NA
brassbones
Take no notice mate. £10k for 100bhp power boost doesn't make a whole lot of sense in my book.
charlton
I loved my (manual) NA, really nice drive and much cheaper to run than my TT! Outsiders just want to hear/see it's a 1000bhp monster thanks to YouTube and The F&F Edited September 18, 2017 by charlton (see edit history)
JasonR24
My NA was absolutely brilliant, I daily drove that car for 6 months and it was the most enjoyable driving I've ever had. It was manual but i wouldn't be disappointed with an auto to daily!
mc92
Most of the hate I see for the 2JZ-GE and the Supra comes from people who have never driven them and don't have any real knowledge about them. At the end of the day we have cooler cars than they do so they can keep their opinions to themselves
formatzero
When I had my car's the first question asked was is it a TT,implying you hadn't quite reached the top of the model range !!
ripped_fear
The answer is to not give a crap what others think. I loved my NA 5 speed to bits and only sold it once I wanted more power, couldn't have cared less what others thought. TBH if I had to sell up Id consider another NA5, sure it wasn't quick but was great fun to chuck around, and equally brilliant cruising on the motorway. Mark C
Ive just had my NA5 in the Manchester Classic Car show over the weekend along with 2 TT's, and the car got the same amount of interest as the TT's. The general feedback was that its a MKIV Supra!, an amazing car, whatever is under the bonnet. The amount of attention we all got was amazing! Havard
Opinions are like arseholes, everyone has one and they are everywhere. I ran my NA5 for 4 years and loved it. So much more fun than the TT. TT was great in a straight line but I never trusted it in the bends and wet like I did with the NA. Maybe it never had enough power to worry me... I wouldn't give a monkeys what anyone else says, Supra will always be a classic design and not a lot of money gives you an immense machine. H. AC93
I get a lot of stick from people who know nothing about Supras for being an auto, even though it's TT. I just say 'race me' and they just chuckle and stfu
ben_harmer32
I get it at every show I go to!! It's looks like the F&F car they expect it to go like the F&F car. Bollox to 'em!! That being said I am currently looking at a manual and turbo conversion lol

SupraTRD_MK4
Must say I agree with everyone here. In my country people do the same as well especially to Skyline owners. And if it aint a GT-R they walk away. I admire you for owning this car and not any other krap Jap cars as of late. Heck even opting for one of these and going through headache to own one is worthy of note man.

That being said I am currently looking at a manual and turbo conversion lol The irony being the F&F Supra didn't start life as a turbo. When they "pop the hood", it's literally the worst engine option available for the car.

I read up that even the n/a motor is good for 500hp roughly with bigger injectors and cometic gasket and maybe different pistons. It is definitely not the worse engine option thats why Jessie said its got potential.

mike33
I had two n/ad's and one was an areo! Absolutely loved it and it was a auto! The only reason i have a tt now is that the areo caught fire!
