sidewaysdan
Thinking about buying this engine that's come up for sale. Has anyone heard of AK motor works in Plymouth.. Engine and turbo spec Engine, bottom end - VVTI 2JZ GTE, just run in after a full tear down and rebuild with Stock crank, polished, Manley rods, Clevite bearings, Wiseco pistons, Toyota rings, Cometic head gasket, ARP rod and crank bolts, new Toyota oil pump, AC delete. Total mileage is 350 Head - Stock Toyota, skimmed, new stem seals and all gaskets genuine Toyota, ARP head bolts. Manifold - Suprastore twin scroll. Turbo - brand new Precision journal bearing 6266. Wastegate - Precision external with screamer pipe. Also would this be a fairly easy swopout in my na-t Thanks dan Edited September 9, 2017 by sidewaysdan (see edit history)

and1c
No idea on the history of that engine but for me I would rather buy a stock engine than a rebuilt one unless I know who had rebuilt it and how competent they were!
