Plastic "thingie" on top of door trim

Recommended Posts

Anyone out there know what the little plastic "thingies" on the inside tops of the door trims are? (Where the door lock button are on lesser vehicles).

I have lost the one on the passenger door revealing what looks like two metal contacts of some sort. Looks real naff!

Where to go for replacement "thingie" I ask?

Cheers,

MARTIN :conf:

I'm not 100% sure which piece you mean.

Could you take a picture of the area where the part is missing and then one of us can look it up on the EPC.

Errrr that is not a stock part.

Does anybody know what it is ? Looks like something for an alarm. I reckon you may be out of luck on this one Martin as it's probably a jap fitted part.

Doesn't seem to do anything! No give in the thing. Looks like a kinda proximity touch sensitive "doofer".

Maybe since having the cat 1 fitted these are now redundant?Maybe I'll try and peel the "bare" one off the door and fix up the mess it leaves?

Oooeer .....
