Delboy52
Since buying this car it has always been the intention to sort the appearance out. The car started life in Japan as a silver SZ with an N/A 2JZ. Since then it has had an N/A-T kit (one of the previous owners) then a Soarer V8 and a matt black paint job. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?337683-V8-Supra-Then-and-now Currently with an LS400 VVTi V8, wide arches and still patchwork black, it is now going through the next stage. Respray! The rear arches have been replaced with the fibreglass version so the bodyshop can confidently blend them in. They have gained half an inch to an inch in width from the standard 25mm each side to ensure clearance for the Work wheels I had made earlier this year. The Trial rear won't be blended into the arches but have a recess moulded into the arches for a flush OE look.
Delboy52
Test fitting of the wheels, and first stages of paint. Am having some holes filled in and a rear wiper delete also.
Delboy52
The colour is a Renault pearl Flame red. Carbon fiber Trial rear diffuser, Ridox skirt trim, active front spoiler blade and new bonnet vents to complimate the look I'm going for. Delboy52
Thanks everyone. If all goes well it should be paint finished by the end of the week. Will take a bit longer to get the wheels on as they'll need a protective layer applied and the suspension will need adjustment to cater for the new sizes. Nice van and Supra Rob!
