When does this make full boost?

Never got to see full boost on this kit Baldy, but it started to spool up very early. We only road tuned decided to brake the car before dyno but Romain commented the car spooled very quick and for the mods he considered a very quick car!

What was the reason for breaking in the end?

Bottom end failure, stopped as soon as it showed signs being mega careful not to damage any parts hence reason the entire engine is still in good condition but it would need a flush and rebuild checking clearances etc. Are you shopping for turbo kit? reach out to me via PM for more details please.

This kit was bought new for 6.5k GBP then a fortune was spent in welding supporting braces for the Turbo, New Down pipe with wider ID 3.5'', hard line from turbo to FMIC 4'' diameter chrome finish and weight support brace, Turbo re build and hybrid with light weight impeller, new oil e cooling lines.

All in this kit new would cost you today 8,000 GBP grab a bargain.

Kit can be picked up personally at SRD UK.

I know Phil has made an offer that you refused but as the car suffered from bottom end failure there is no knowing what contaminants went through the turbo. Therefore in my opinion the turbo would need a rebuild to be 100% sure and that was the basis for an offer. Im sure it still stands if you change your mind :)

We would collect from SRD too so no need to mess about posting it.

Yeah just to clarify, we wont be cleaning it out.

As Mike said there is a possibility of contamination so its the buyers responsibility to either flush it though or get it stripped and checked.

Thank you for the offer but the price if fixed and it reflects condition and leaves thousands of pounds to rebuild the turbo if necessary which it wouldn't be needed anyhow.

it reflects condition...

Really? your original post said it was perfect and freshly rebuilt with 1000 miles on it, it said nothing about been removed from an engine which had a huge problem? therefore the turbo could have a problem?

which it wouldn't be needed anyhow.

Are you willing to risk somebody else's engine on that? Without even mentioning it until asked?

I was quite offended when your PM suggested i had some how ruined your sale thread when i simply asked why the car was been broken for parts? I was genuinely interested, as you said, it's a great price. If it was as you described.

Moderators please delete this post - I has nothing to add to the post everything condition etc has been clearly described in previous posts.

iPhone 3?? wasn't this the original turbo kit post?

Hi Shawn,

As you can imagine due to my failure to add additional information of the condition of the turbo kit, I got flamed and my name tarnished. I am a 7 year member of this forum as you know and respected client to many traders here. I wish to have a real shot of selling the turbo kit and as you could imagine the tarnishing posts do not add any value to the sale thread. Therefore I respectfully wish to have these sale threads deleted and have a new one with parts condition agreed especially by the ones that appear to take enjoyment out posting their negative posts on my for sale thread.

Brazil, the only one who has tarnished this thread is you.

You have misled people about the potential condition of the turbo and you failed to mention at first that it was on an engine that had bottom end failure.

Just because respected members who have been here for years, spent thousands with traders and contribute to the forum pointed that out, doesn’t make us the bad guy.

....and now the sale thread title has changed to 'iPhone 3' - I can only think this is an attempt to hide this thread content from a user searching your old posts for any history.

You say your name has been tarnished? I believe its been tarnished by yourself after this poor attempt to change the title of the thread.

Start a new for sale thread and give a full and accurate description from the first post. Its the only way to appear straight & honest.

GLWTS
