Anyone have 235 40s or 245 40s on a 9j rim?

Looking for pictures of each preferably.

I will be buying new Yokohama ADO8Rs for the front of my new wheels.

The fronts are 9j and im not sure whether to go for 235 or 245 40s.

I dont want them bulging over the sides, ideally i want them perfectly flat with the rim/tiny tiny bit of stretch.

I also dont want the profile to look out of proportion with my 295 30 rears.

 

Any help would be good

I've got these tyres in 255 on a 9.5J doesn't bulge, in fact I might go for 265 next.

This might help....

 

 

....if you look at the left wheel, thats a 235/40 AD08R on a 9.5j wheel - not a lot of stretch and should be exactly what you want on a 9j

 

These and AO48s are very "square" tyres, so sit flush quite easily compared to a lot of road tyres.

I have 246/40 on a 9j

They should be straight cause it has a very stiff wall. I'd go for 245's on a 9j

Thanks guys, i have done a couple of calculations and i think the 235s will be best for me. Otherwise the sidewall will look out of proportion with the rear tyre sidewall.
