Scutch0
I recently upgraded my old pioneer sph da-110 to a sph-da120 and was blown away by it. My one main issue with it was the touchscreen volume and skip buttons. I've always thought it'd be nice to rig up some kind of steering controls, so I came up with this; An auto leads product designed for a peugeot 206 called pc99-213 isa steering control interface that instead of re-using the existing wiring has a complete look that plugs directly into the 'stalk' so here's the project from start to finish... So first I located a used peugeot206 steering control stalk & a pc99-213 with pioneer patch lead Then I had to mount the stalk to the column, I wanted to locate it on the lower section but it would be in the way of inserting the key, so it had to be mounted on the upper, just behind the indicator stalk. Clearance behind it was limited so it needed cutting down slightly & mounted. The stalk adaptor only needed ignition and earth to function, so I cut the rest of it away and wired to the existing stereo wiring & plugged in the swc lead. I also took advantage of having the interior plastics off and gave them a refresh is high gloss black. https://flic.kr/p/WADPPv https://flic.kr/p/Xe8iaE https://flic.kr/p/XQ7Pjp https://flic.kr/p/XBWDpc Edited August 18, 2017 by Scutch0 (see edit history)
Scutch0
So obviously I didn't realise Photobucket doesn't allow 3rd party sharing now, but if you click on the links it should still work

Andrew K
Yes, this should be made law on projects and how too's. Been thinking this for ages and don't know why people don't! It's not that hard to do and better than using photo bucket etc.

Hitbox Junkie
You should use the forum upload the only time it doesn't work is when you post a massive file for a photo that is over the limits set up by the forum upload. I do on my project thread and it still isn't in the projects thread

Andrew K
I haven't but thought once you start a project thread in supra chat and upload the pictures the correct way the mods move it over when they think it's worthy to do so.

tintinmt
Nice job! I'm installing the SPH DA120 in my Crown at the moment. I'll see how it is in use and decide whether I need to do something similar. I clicked on the video link and it took me to Photobucket where I was able to see some photos but I didn't see the video. Mk4Gaz
It's easy to upload via Tapatalk, from your mobile. That way the images are actually in the thread
