Change of plan

Well i was going to treat myself to a 2011/12 plate E93 M3 but having thought these were one of the better

cars out there i'm beginning to think otherwise.

I know all cars have faults but some for me are unacceptable

It appears a common problem on the 4.0 V8 M3 is worn out shells and there's no warning of them failing, also

throttle actuators packing up, £700 each new from BMW, thankfully there's only 2 of them

Now looking at Z4's as they appear to have only some relatively minor issues from what my BMW technician

told me a couple of days ago

Very good friend of mine is selling his Z4M, let me know if you want some details. I think for the right money he'll throw in his medallion.

Yeah the throttle actuators are a pain in the arse, Just ask Rob wild on here as he's had loads of issues with his and has now got shut

Found a place that fixes the throttle actuators for a lot less the buying new from BMW and has a very

good rep on m3cutters forum but the shell issue is the main biggy

Some photos of the rod shells i've been finding

The middle set were just removed from a 65,000 mile full dealer history car, i'm surprised there wasn't damage

to the crank but the owners been told its fine and had a new set of shells fitted
