AC93
That seems like a lot for mk3! Mk4 prices seemed to have stabilised over the last couple of months, never know how long for tho! America can import them as of next year so will be interesting

Scooter
It's a bubble for a lot of cars imo. No one saw the Supra rise coming and everyone is convinced of a price march continually upwards now, but nothing is certain. Mkiii has no fast and furious/playstation generation factor, has some inherent issues, missed the advances in corrosion protection, fewer want these than mkiv's but as supply dwindles especially for clean ones then i spose dealers can set the price and one of those few nostalgic ex owners might take the plunge? j_jza80
Desirable model MKIII's (the 3.0 homologation cars and the late r154 1jz cars) aren't far off mk4 prices in Japan now.
mc92
I would love a Mk3, I think they're awesome. Not for 11k though.

I haven't seen a 1jz mkiii come up for sale for a while in the UK. I would love one as I really do like the retro styling.

Thy were pretty rare to start with, now they're incredibly rare and quite sought after. You should be able to get a nice 7M GTE manual car for under 5k now, as long as its unmodified with no shit dump valves etc
Delboy52
I saw a silver one on Thursday heading out of Oxford on the M40 during the return commute. Not seen a MKIII in years.
Dnk
Who would of thought a Datsun 240z would fetch what they do now or a mk1 Escort or etc etc
ShawnPreece
had 2 mkiii's and absolutely loved them, they used to be so cheap to buy aswell my first being a turbo manual I bought for £950 and was reasonable condition and the second one I had was absolutely mint and was £1400 (at that time that was top money for them) but this was a while ago they have gone up alot (not as much as the one pictured in post 1 though thats very expensive still)

jim_supra
I miss my mkiii, was the second car I ever owned and I loved it. I would love another someday, perhaps a restoration project.
