foggy147
Looking for some help on an exhaust. Just been watching some videos of the popular exhaust manufacturers and came across this https://youtu.be/dXdsDYw-VY0 That is exactly the type of sound I love, nice and raspy without being to loud. I notice that garage Whifbitz have the nur spec s but worried if this is any different? Or is that video from a turbo model as it does not say. If not what exhaust are out there for the NA that sound like this? Want to make sure I get the right one. Cheers
ben_harmer32
I bought this one: Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/201959968832 was a great fit and sound similar to that. https://youtu.be/SZdWZLuEQuM My car is running double decats though Edited August 11, 2017 by ben_harmer32 (see edit history)

The Blitz NUR S for the NA only replaces the rear back box, it is designed to bolt up to the stock mid pipe. It gives the NA a little more of a throaty exhaust note without being too loud. See here http://www.blitz-uk.co.uk/store/exhaust-system/ Blitz make a version of the Blitz NUR R (full cat back exhaust) for the NA, it has an additional silencer on the mid pipe compared to the TT version to keep the Db level down to 'reasonable' levels. There must be someone on here with one fitted that may be able to post a video. Does your car have the stock cats fitted? Decat pipes also make a big difference to the exhaust note and Db level on an NA.

Nic
The stock 2nd cat has been removed and replaced with a straight through pipe. Not sure what the part is that's clamped at each end, it's not stock but judging by it's size it could be an aftermarket sports cat. That pic doesn't show the first cat it is up between the 2nd cat and the exhaust manifold. This pic from the EPC shows the stock first cat 17460B and second cat 17410. foggy147
Going to take my car to a place called pipewerx in ormskirk. They seem to specialise in bike exhaust but do cars and some of there work looks awesome. Hoping to get in this week as per usual he won't give me a price without seeing the car so need to go down
Annabella
have a figure in your mind before you go - as you may feel obliged to buy when you're there. Personally I wouldn't go unless given a figure before, as would make me feel like possibility of being overcharged or they've never done a supra exhaust before. Just my opinion that's all. Have a whifbitz 2.5" twin box on mine and suits me great. Was nearly new and was around £200 second hand. Just saying that to give you a figure. I sent an email back to them earlier today but haven't got a response. If they don't bother to answer I won't go can't be doing with that. Seems a nightmare these days just to get some honest advice and get the job done. I want it doing sooner than later and as always don't mind it being a few hundred as long as it's quite like I want it to be
evinX
Videos will never give the realism of the sound im afraid. You said you didnt want it too loud. I garuntee you a nur spec on a na will blast yours and everyones ear drums out even with cats. I can vouch for a hks silent with both cats in. Indrive unsocial hours and even cops didnt have a issue with mine.
