I know some of you lot will like this, good old Dave Rowe, Motec mapper extraordinaire, and a very handy pedaller has a new video of his 2017 endeavours on the infamous Pike's Peak hillclimb. Plus some footage of other stuff running the hill. I know he'd really rather be mapping my RB26, but when such delights are not available he potters about in this old shed of a cut and shut Audi.... ;)

Great video, car looks and sounds fantastic but i get the feeling it could go alot quicker, Dave seems slightly scared of it i though only using half of the rev range mostly, obviously he doesn`t want to crash it too badly considering how much time and effort must have gone into that thing.

Was watching his build from start to finish , some interesting items he has on the car , turbo speed sensor to compensate for the barometric pressure drop at altitude , pity the Nos Solenoid failed on race day restricting throttle

The craftmanship , parts and fabrication put into a car saved from rotting away in a field is astonishing ; something to leverage off , how to do things right

Was thinking more of the sheer drops to a certain death  cool video and fab car.
