OS GIKEN Spec S 1.5WAY LSD

Hi everyone,

 

I would like to buy an OS GIKEN Spec S 1.5WAY LSD for my futur 2002 n/a5 Supra.

 

The diff is an A01A open one... ^^'

 

After some research, I found most of the aftermarket LSD swap have to be done with a small case diff, which is my case.

 

BUT the OS GIKEN website states their lsd are available only for Supra from 05/93 to 05/96 (with the small case and corresponding side shafts)

 

My question is the following (I'm pretty sure I know the answer but we never know...) :

 

 

Are the facelift small cases different to the prefacelift one ?

 

In this case : is my A01A diff different to the A01A prefacelift diff we can find in any

There are small and large case diffs, so if you buy the correct Giken LSD section it will fit any small, or any large case diff accordingly. You will need new side bearings and seals and side shims, maybe a pinion bearing and seal and crush tube, then it will need setting up.
