Guest frugalgolfer
Fellow members, I am experiencing a "sputtering start" after the vehicle has been driven for an hour or so. How this manifests itself is the engine will turn over and immediately stall. How I get around it is when the engine turns over, I get in the gas pedal immediately. This works about half the time. Yesterday it didn't work the first 9-10 times I tried it, but I finally got it coming. My mechanic has 2 theories, fuel filter or fuel pump. Any ideas? Respectfully, Frugal Golfer
Dnk
Easy enough to check the pump and change the fuel filter so do that first would be my advice Might pay you to join a mk3 forum too http://www.supraforums.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?13-MKIII-(1986.5-1992) http://www.mkiiisupra.net/bbs/forum.php Edited July 14, 2017 by Dnk (see edit history)
