jackso11 Posted July 14, 2017 Share Posted July 14, 2017 (edited) I have a new rad (Nissens) and think it is missing the mounting points for the small electric rad fan. Can I just scrap the small fan? I think I read somewhere that later models didn't have the fan so am wondering if the cooling of this rade will be better than my original one and therefore I don't need it? Could someone post a picture of where it mounts incase I am being stupid and missing a bracket or something? The company I bought it from sold me the wrong one and as I have thrown all the packaging away I can't take it back So going to put it up for sale now. If so, where did you get it and how much? (if you don't mind me asking?) When I changed the crank pulley on mine a few weeks ago I noticed my rad fins are turning to dust so need a new rad myself! jackso11 Posted July 14, 2017 Author Share Posted July 14, 2017 I ended up getting it from a local company so I could have a look at it first, didn't notice the missing bolt holes though and was only really checking for the auto box cooler. I would be ordering the TT one from them and then sending the NA one back in that packaging. That fan is mainly for a bit of extra air flow when the AC is switched on I seem to recall.
