brom86
I have recently returned to the supra scene as I missed my old one that much. Just great cars and miss the meets ect. My new car is a facelift white na with black alloys. The alloy style and colour is not the look im going for so I have purchased a cheap set of wheels which requires to be refurbished. I am looking for opinions on what colour to do them. I am leaning towards hyper silver or mat silver. I have seen gold against the white which is also nice. Any advice would be appreciated
mc92
Gold is cool, I wanted some gold ones for mine. Gunmetal/bronze would look nice too I think. I'm not into silver personally.

rider
I had my BBS painted BMW shadow chrome and they suit a white car better than standard silver being more a graphite colour. Its more expensive as its a two paint process of silver on black but I think it was worth it.

Dnk
Are you going to powder coat the whole face one colour ? not sure that works very well with multi spoke design
brom86
Are you going to powder coat the whole face one colour ? not sure that works very well with multi spoke design I was considering it but unsure on what's best. This is the look I'm after
Dnk
For the best look i think polished lips with painted spokes works best, you could do the spokes any colour you like. Have a look here, i really like the copper look just over half way down the page https://mulpix.com/instagram/ccw_ccwforgedwheels_ccwwheels.html Candy purple, red or blue centres would also work well against a white car imo and be very different from the norm Edited July 10, 2017 by Dnk (see edit history)
brom86
Think polished lip and matte silver is what I'll go for tbh
jim
I like bronze against white, but I'm really digging the matt black centre/anodised bronze finish that the new works come in

Supragal
The problem with shades and colours darker than silver on a white car is that they get "lost" in the darkness of the arches.

I want to go 18s Cheers I got mine brand new from driftworks. They are jr10's. I'm running j-spec brakes, so I'm not sure about UK brakes (theres not much, if any concave to the Jr 10's so I couldn't say).
