INeedASupraJEE
So after turning 25, I think it's time to buy my dream car. I was looking at single turbo auto's as they're in my price range, with it being my first Supra would an N/A be the better option for now? Thanks in advance! Karl M N
Na. These things change price constantly so buy what you can afford (providing it's a clean car of course. What kind of power jump will this be from your current car?
sidewaysdan
Nope jump straight in and get a single. If you can afford it buy it is my Moto
INeedASupraJEE
Haha yeah it will be a massive jump from having a mk5 golf gti anyway. I do love a good go for it motto, is there a massive difference in an NA-T too TT-T?
Karl M N
Haha yeah it will be a massive jump from having a mk5 golf gti anyway. I do love a good go for it motto, is there a massive difference in an NA-T too TT-T? I don't know what power figures na-t puts out. Depends on what you spend I guess. I think the whifbitz turbo kit is claiming 360bhp up to 500 with additional work or something. Pretty much all the tt's are bpu so you're looking at at least 400bhp. A member I spoke to said his made 407bhp at 1.1 bar. I think the power for a single will depend on the turbo and mapping, of course its higher than TT power anyway. I'd seriously recommend picking up a tt or single if you can afford it. If you're worried about losing control cause of the power, don't. Common sense and good tyres will keep you safe. INeedASupraJEE
I think for now 400-500bhp would be just fine, I'll be sure to put a wanted ad up in the future when I have the funds together for something decent, fingers crossed the single turbo! Thanks for the advice anyway chaps. Hopefully it won't be too long before I have one and I get to come along to the meets.
Karl M N
It's a shame you didn't sign up sooner I guess. You've missed out on a few really good cars that were in the single turbo budget. Always more to come though.
ShawnPreece
As said above go for what you can afford only going from a front wheel drive hatchback to a high powered rear wheel drive Supra take it easy to start and get used to how it drives
jcbt
You will never regret buying a single or TT

Frank Bullitt
You do know we don't want him to sell that car! Tell everyone it's a dog and you wouldn't touch it with a barge pole! [emoji23] It's cut and shut you say! Full of rot hidden by filler and newspaper! I could't see his dream crushed, it's a shame E couldn't keep this and the other one he would like as I think they would compliment each other very nicely. All jokes aside I can't believe it's still for sale.
INeedASupraJEE
As good as that looks, it is just out of budget And I've never really been a fan of anything but a supra with its original spoiler
Style
Being in a position to buy one is one thing. Being able to afford the upkeep is another...that's my motto Would be a shame to buy a lovely example of a Supra if you couldn't afford to maintain the standard, they're only going up in price so make sure it's not going to clean you out every time you fill the tank With that in mind a TT may be a nicer option as singles, depending on how much it's been built, can cost a lot more with strains being put on parts etc. Obviously I don't know your financial situation but just wanted to try and give you a little perspective I've seen it happen before where people buy real nice Supra's with a lot of time and money put in to them and they just get run into the ground. There's a few in the classifieds section that may take your fancy, good luck and welcome
Axl
TT's are for girls buy a nice N/A
Hitbox Junkie
Just but the tt auto that's a single. Don't bother getting an na if you can afford the single. Just take it easy to get used to how it handles and how the power kicks in. It's savage and need to be fully aware. Things can go wrong quickly. But it's fun!!
