Jamesy
Anyone using something similar? Needs to be slim as my s/wheel is deep dish and already sticks out quite far. The thinnest quick release is around 30mm which is too much on top of what's already there so I need to look at a slim hub/slim quick release maybe. Thoughts please?! Dave Carroll
I always use the NRG short hubs and their quick releases. I think the hub is around 20mm or so deep. Their quick releases are possibly around 50mm for the slimmer models. My momo wheel is shallow dish, with the short hub and a gen3 quick release and sits roughly where the stock wheel did. berg
I used to have the NRG slim hub and NRG quick release It put the wheel in pretty much the same position as it did when i was using just a HKB boss

Jamesy
What about the Sparco range are they any good?
Jellybean
What about the Sparco range are they any good? Most Sparco units are branded Sparco ebay items, not official Sparco units I would only recommend a FIA approved unit ,Life line, Snap-off I am using the Snap-off unit , fantastic piece of kit, I had a few other brands (Odula) and all had play in them

Jellybean
Got a link to yours mate? Are you using slim boss kit too? http://www.murraymotorsport.com/products/snap-off-quick-release-r1000-hub-fitment-fia I think it is a normal boss kit , the car came with the Odula unit from japan but had play in it so swapped out for the R1000 Tried the Sparco unit off Ebay , binned it ; too dangerous to use

Jamesy
Thanks mate - they all seem to be the quick release bit - can you see any slim hub boss kits on there?
