Shane
As per the title, 399 USD per annum per member it sounds like. That's going to make some older threads pretty useless then.
Frank Bullitt
http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?343359-Photobucket I'd imagine all the old FAQ's and most of the build threads in Supra chat.
mplavery
Im only 7% full so it seems only people who go over there free storage are getting asked to pay
mwilkinson
Mine seem to be OK too. Concerned they will soon be unavailable too. I'm up for alternative ideas if anyone has any?
evinX
Stopped using photobucket a while now, such a slow page. Terrible. Try postimage...free and fast. https://postimage.io/
Chris1992
I had 2 photobucket accounts. 1 was 99.8% full, and one was 10%... Both are now useless. Over on one of the classic mini forums I have a build thread which is 42 pages long with thousands of images, and now the whole thing is scrapped. Livid is an understatement!!! I always hated the clunky layout of photobucket so I wish I had changed to something else sooner.
JordanC
My recommendation is to go for a dropbox account (free) I've had mine for a few years now - it's essentially cloud storage of files, can be all sorts of files too (not just images). With the dropbox app for my phone, I can take a picture on my phone and upload straight to dropbox, go on my computer and generate a link to the file and then embed it here on the forum. The free package comes with 2GB free space and you can 'earn' more file space by referring friends etc.

Does anyone know if you can embed files from Onedrive?
stevie_b
For forums like this, I'd say it's preferable to upload photos to the forum directly. As long as the forum lives, the photos in the threads will also live. I've always found Photobucket really frustrating - every time I point my browser there, I get annoying nagging pop-ups, and have done for years. Does anyone know if you can embed files from Onedrive? I agree, it might be clunky but it's a free alternative to Photobucket which allows 3rd party linking - seems enough people used Photobucket on here that it shouldn't be an issue Apparently you can embed from OneDrive also: Pick the file you want to embed by selecting the check box in the upper-right corner of the file. Tap or click Embed on the top of the page, and then choose Generate. Copy and paste the code into the code of your website or blog. Just what I found from Google^^
