Hagerty for Classic is a no go as well £100 more than FJ!

samm
I'll never understand insurance companies, my renewal from Adrian Flux was £529 but I got 3points for driving without due care and attention earlier this year so I called to inform them and they said they would have to run my details through the system and give me a new quote,so the new quote with the points declared was £487!!! marbleapple
Quelle suprise! Been a lot of threads on here about how useless they've been recently. Just got my quote. A 41% increase. Ageas (their capacity provider) has clearly put up their rates. I imagine as a consequence of the changes to the Ogden rates. Their financial issues shouldn't be my problem though. I've dropped Footman James an email advising them that I wish to make a formal complaint re how they pretend to be a broker when they are an MGA. Unfortunately for them my knowledge through my employment will make me a pain in the ass. Hagerty have just given me an indicative quote on line of less than Footman James with LEI and breakdown cover in addition. If I remove these hopefully it will fall further. MoRLeY
I'm with admiral for my insurance, when I got the quote they applied a classic car discount. I had to fill in an agreed valuation form and take 7/8 pictures of my car, with copies of my V5C. After all this my quote for my insurance came back as being £200 for my jap spec N/A. This policy was for Social, and Domestic only with 5k miles, as I have another daily car (insured with a different company)

This is for my green Supra mate so not quite the same mod list as the white one but think its still down as performance as nothing about a classic has been specified and iv still declared all mods
