Scooter
There is no (stock) oil temp light, yellow oil can is level, red is pressure. Suspect yellow and on/off due to surge (hard braking?)

Swampy442
Thats the oil level light, the sensor is on the right side of the engine, near the dip stick on the sump. Known to fail

Oil level sensor is on the sump next to the dipstick Could either be a dodgy sensor or alternator has failed if you have other symptoms
Chris Wilson
Forget oil level sensors on *ANY* engine, the dipstick always speaks the truth, the sensors can get you into deep poo poo if relied upon to warn of low oil level.
