thoughts on a 370Z

Drove a 350 a while back and it felt very heavy. Not sure why though the weight of the 370 is something like 1470kg, but something about it just felt like a heavy car. Very nice sounding engine though and the gear changes were pretty similar to the W58 in terms of feel.

I had a jdm 350z, then a hi-rev 350z, followed by an almost new 370z. The 370 was the best in terms of toys/interior though for the price the hi-rev 350z is an awesome motor. I only kept my 370z a few months, changed it for a cayman s 3.4 which was a different league in terms of looks, handling but not straight line power (the zed felt more brutal). however the porsche was a ticking time bomb (waiting for something to go wrong) and the 370z was much more useable day to day.

It may have changed now but they were also very expensive to mod if you wanted to do that. Have you considered the TT RS? I've been looking recently, seems to be one of the fastest cars around for the money, stupidly powerful with a tune package.

if you look back through my threads i asked ages ago about the cayman , really like the car but cant afford anything after 09 ,anything before that like you say ims time bomb . so came across the 370 z. went to look at one today quite like the interior , but the outside was a mess , needed paint so walked away . is the auto in these any good ?

I have had a 296 350z and 220 tt,now have a 370z gt edition paddle shift which I find to be better than the others. If you want to increase the power from 328 bhp its probably supercharger, although you can get small gains with intake ,exhaust, and remap..If you want better handling and some power increase you can go Nismo 344bhp.I thought long and hard before I bought mine because I was comparing it with BPU Supra, however the Z won because I just couldn't spend £20k on an old car.I am however a big Supra fan and if I could have both I would !!
