muckyman
Weather was crap in Newcastle but almost six hours later I was home safe and sound, and it was sunny The car is lovely, really happy with it. A few things to do such as fit a speedo converter and get the aircon checked out as it doesn't blow cold (even though the compressor kicks in) Jurgen was very apologetic about these as they should have been done as part of the prep but I didn't spot them until I had got on the motorway for my journey home. The average speed limits were interesting when I wasn't sure what speed I was doing. He's sending me what I need to convert to mph. A few pics..... rider
Welcome to Supra World. Probably the home of one of the most reliable cars in the World. Your a/c issue sounds strange. If the compressor is kicking in you must have gas in the system as there is a low pressure cut off for the compressor clutch. It should be blowing mildly cooler air even on low refrigerant charge. Shame Jurgen didn't check it out as it could be a slow leak system and that could prove expensive to fix.
brassbones
Nice to see a pretty stock face-lifter The oem sideskirts look nice but do make wheel changes a bit of a pain as 95% of trolly jacks can't get under them. I usually have to roll it onto planks of wood first. AC will probably be a leak somewhere. Don't know what it's like in your area but I use a guy here (called CoolWheels) that regassed, found leak with fluorescent dye, repaired the leak and regassed all for under £150.
