ellis
Just bought a really good book on the history of the Supra from Sandown charting the history from them there early days way back when perms were cool and the Flock of Seagulls were still shit! It gets to the MKIV and there are a few UK cars featured in replicated articles from the day and I was wondering if anybody on here owned these cars today (all UK cars) . . . 1) L36APM 2) L65BPL 3) L64BPL 4) N709PPJ 5) P50PRA Just interested to see if they're still alive and where they ended up! Heyrick
Hi, I've got several photos of L64 BPL (6spd red uk) in a January 1994 'Car' magazine in a nose to nose article with a BMW M3. Would have been nice to know it was still around - shame! Quote from the article: "Where the M3 snarls and wails, the Toyota simply hums and whooshes, muffled by whistling turbos" The reviewer thought the Toyota was out in front btw! From another magazine of the same period, a quote on the 2nd hand mk3 Supra: "Turbo Supras promoted greater use of side windows" Great eh! Nic
Nic - the AA site says its a 93 Supra Turbo so it must be alive somewhere! It's featured in the Jap mag to explain the differences on the export models, as it shows the bonnet scoop, dildos and different rear light combination. Would be cool if it belong to a member on here, anyone with a 93 Silver UK spec?
