blitz supra
Did anyone go to Jap Perfpormance mag show yesterday (sat 24th) Was well disapointed... there was more cars in the car park!! Real shame as had been looking forward to it... Paid a tenner to get in as well !!! Is it me or is everyone under the same opinion? We have all been doing the Jap scene now for a few years... and the mags now all think its something really big ... hello it has been for years. but WHY IS IT NOW TRYING TO BE MADE INTO SOME BIG MONEY EARNER... JAE Billing started off £6.00 a car.. JAE Peterborough £15.00 per person... come on!! what next £10.00 for the Bolney meet!! and £10.00 per person for Ace Cafe!! this is not what its about... Would be great to hear others views on this Highlight of Sandown was bumping into a few of the guys from the Ace, They were p..sed off too, having travelled all the way down to Sandown to find nothing, it could be walked around and out again in 15 mins, come on Jap Performance mag... what was that all about, you have been hyping this show all year, certainly didn't justify a tenner each.. mmmm.. can't wait for Santa Pod on the 9th.. a real day out To be honest the Ace has more to offer on a Tues night than Sandown did and that is free!! ellis
Bit disappointed after a 370 mile round trip with my 13 year old lad and his mate - did it conflict with any other meets this weekend?
blitz supra
No...luckily.... I thought it was a compete waste of time anf fuel... was not happy after sitting in a 1hr jam on the M25 Ace Cafe Jap meet week Tues night and then Jap Performance Santa Pod on the 9th Oct. Then its pretty much it for the year... Ace Cafe each month and then we start again with Bolney in April.
ellis
I was happy to give the car a good blat down the A1/M25 but it was a lot of dosh spent (apart from the dyno by Thor!) to see a few cars. Ah well, you lives you learns!

Ark
Well I enjoyed myself even if it did cost a tenner. Got some good info off the bloke from TurboDynamics, saw some nice cars... Remember that the race course must be quite expensive to hire like that, so they have to cover their costs somehow. And how much nicer to have all those facilities rather than a muddy field and a bunch of port-a-cabins???? Agreed, they probably did spread themselves a little thin though, with stands inside, outside, outside the other side, out front, downstairs....
