muckyman
Hi all, in just over a week I will be picking up my TT Supra from Jurgen. Its completely OEM and I'll be running that way for a short period of time before going BPU (maybe only a month or so, and likely getting done by Whifbitz). Any recommendations on exhaust options for BPU? (any experience on noise levels on the exhausts Whifbitz offer?) I don't want something loud all the time. Quiet for normal driving with a bit of noise on WOT is fine. cheers Michael

Nic
Tanabe Touring Medalion and Blitz NUR Spec RX are 2 of the quietest off the shelf exhausts available.
muckyman
Yeah, I did toy with the idea of getting JM to do the work as part of the cars prep but I really want to run it OEM for a bit and then BPU in order to feel the difference... Chris Bailey
Tanabe Touring Medalion or Whifbitz 3" Twinbox. Both quiet exhausts but still flow well enough for BPU. We had a Whifbitz 3" Twinbox fitted for about 2 weeks when we was BPU. But it was to quiet so swapped it out for a 3" single box.
Westy
I have a Fujitsubo on my 1A1 and at OEM you'd struggle to tell that the car is turning over! At BPU now and is has a little rasp but nothing attention grabbing
Scooter
I have a tanabe touring, almost too quiet but to be honest I think I'd hate a constantly noisy one. It's too subtle for some/most no doubt but in a tunnel still gives a nice sound on wot. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?341549-Tanabe-medallion-touring-cat-back-exhaust&highlight=tanabe

Mk4Gaz
Whifbitz 3" twin box here, and it's almost stock quiet inside the cabin - just how I like it!

Sheefa
Veilside Titanium Teardrop mate. Quiet as anything and with the baffle on you would think it's am electric car. Honest

It was great! Many thanks to all for the pointers, and I'll do some youtube searches also. Gotta love this forum and the very quick & helpful responses
