For sale, a pair of rare rear speaker insulation foil / film seals.

 

In very good shape, kept well their form.

No tears or holes, all black silicone is still applied on them, ready to mount onto the sheet metal.

Are these used with the GZ rear speaker boxes?

Hello Matt,

 

Good question, they are not.

The GZ rear speaker pods naturally find their place in the rear sheet metal openings.

--> In order to fit mine, I had to remove these seals as they were in collision with the GZ pods (they are so deep )

 

These seals are therefore equipped on all other variants with the rear speaker metal brackets / frames, and greatly help in improving the acoustic, being given the opened design of the rear speaker metal brackets.

I reckon they are pretty rare to find

PS : I am not sure such seals exist for the GZ rear speaker pods, as they occupy all the place... Am I wrong ?

No. I think you're right. I've seen these before and think they were installed on facelift cars to improve acoustics in the car, as you say.

 

If they don't fit with the rear plastic speaker pods then I will disregard.
