ripped_fear
Another horrendous day for us zookeepers as a member of staff has been killed by a big cat. Too early to know who was at fault although, these things tend to be keeper error sadly, reason being why i'm so lock paranoid at work. Wouldn't normally share this on here but a few pictures down on the article a black supra in the car park too. http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/hamerton-zoo-evacuated-police-ambulance-10523563 RIP

Pudsey
Awful news. When I was watching the news report on the TV tonight, I thought I saw a supra in the background.
pedrosixfour
Such a pity. Strength to her family, friends and colleagues. Without trying to sound callous, what happens to the cat now? Destroyed or returned to its enclosure?
keron
He's a customer of mine (the owner of the supra) he is also a club member too...

Very sad story nevertheless.
Suprakeith
Very sad news, I have been to the zoo few times as it's only up the road from me. Do hope they don't destroy the tiger as its only doing what's natural to it. And I also saw the black and wondered if was a local member. Dnk
Very sad to read what happened but you can't blame the tiger can you ? its a dangerous wild animal. I understand we need zoos to keep these stunning animals from becoming extinct and i totally understand the dedication of zoo workers etc, sadly in reality its not natural for it to be kept in a cage and looking at the zoo not a very big one at that.
