uzzyuzzy
So I was at the Supra v GTR meet Friday just gone and on the way back home around 2330 during a hard run I lost all power with the Toucan flashing the word "TEMP". I could see lots of steam and liquid loss in my rear view mirror and plenty of steam at the front with lots of hissing noises. The engine cut out and I rolled on to the grassy area as there was no hard shoulder. Lots of steam coming from the back of the engine just under the scuttle panel where the piping disappears down. The car started fine the following day but very quickly the temperature rises and begins to overheat and this is after topping up the coolant the following day. So the car has not been driven since as I'm away on holiday but keen to understand what could possibly have gone wrong. The supra has always been serviced every year and well maintained. ellis
That water pipe at the back of the head is prone to going. Mine went on a dyno some years ago. It's a swine to get to though.
