jaha66
Started the supra tonight normally takes a good while to warm up headed for the petrol station 3 min away temp gauge half way (Not normal).checked water none. Started the car turned heater on filled with water and it's pissing out behind the engine coming down behind the oil sump. Could it be a core plug ?? Thanks
Scooter
Could be but i'd say (more gut instinct than experience mind) that they are more likely to weep or be a less noticeable leak, it could be the hose that comes up out of the rear of the head. Is it a TT or NA? and can you be more specific or the area it's leaking or even where it's definitely not leaking from.
Swampy442
Ill say its the pipe at the back of the cylinder head, for the heater
jaha66
Its a single turbo. I jacked it up and that's where it is running down right in the centre. Couldn't see were from the top of the engine. I had a na before and it blew a core plug out.

keron
heater matrix pipe as above at a guess.... one in the center on the head. change loads of them. they split where the clamp goes on it on the head side.

keron
yep in stock.... take the spark plug cover off and move the pipe a little and see if its leaking in the middle. the water can come into the spark plug area too and flood the plugs = misfire. very common
