j_jza80 Posted May 26, 2017 Author Share Posted May 26, 2017 4K versions of The Spy Who Loved Me and For Your Eyes Only to get charity screenings in honour of Sir Roger Moore MAY 26, 2017 - STAFF@SEENITUK Newly restored 4K versions of The Spy Who Loved Me and For Your Eyes Only are to be screened in tribute to Sir Roger Moore who died earlier this week. Fans around the world who were saddened to hear of the 007 star’s passing following a short battle with cancer been sharing memories, anecdotes and favourite Moore moments since news of his death was Tweeted by family members. Now Bond movie producers EON Productions, along with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios and Park Circus, are offering fans the opportunity to see two of his most iconic 007 adventures while also supporting UNICEF, the charity of which Sir Roger was a Goodwill Ambassador for more than 25 years. Screenings will take place at cinemas across the world including: Odeon Cinemas (UK), AMC Theatres (U.S.) and Hoyts (Australia), beginning 31 May 2017, with 50 percent of all proceeds benefitting UNICEF. Further locations will be announced in the coming days. Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli of EON Productions, producers of the James Bond films, said: “In honour of Sir Roger Moore, we are delighted these Bond screenings will benefit UNICEF which was the charity closest to his heart.” Gary Barber, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, MGM added: “Sir Roger Moore left an indelible imprint on audiences worldwide.
