MX5 MK2 - Perfect Track Car

Here for sale is our MX5 1.6 MK2 Track car. We have owned this for nearly a year and in that time we have only managed to find time to do Croft,Oulton Park and a small time attack at three sisters, hence the sale. Now with the Supra, Starlet and Nissan Z31 and just lack of time, this needs to go.

It's been absolutely faultless, never once has it not started, performed without any mechanic issue on both track days, it's been a joy to own. It's far from a show car, however has had a fair amount of time and money put into it.

1.6 Engine

Approx 45k miles

MOT Expires 30th June

New ebay coilovers fitted

Full service including brake flush, oil and filters, new yellow stuff pads, new disc all round, done about 1k miles since all this was done

New rear arches cut and welded in, new rear sills cut and welded - see pics

Refurbed some old MG wheels and sprayed white, not a bad finish with new rubber, again about 1k miles on them

Ebay front and rear strut braces

New front calipers fitted

Wezmoto braided brake lines

Not much in terms of service history, bought purely for track use and for the occasional commute to work so this wasn't really a concern

Hasnt used a drop of oil, no loss of coolants etc

Heated rear screen

Bad bits - it's gold

Still has body filler on rear arches - just simply haven't had time to get this smoothed and properly blended

Front arches need filling and sorting to smarten it up

Interior, although doesn't have any rips etc, is a tatty, scratched dashboards etc

No horn, needs wiring in to the aftermarket steering wheel

Usual leak from the softop

Apart from this, although it's no show car it truly has been a joy to own, feels solid when driven with no knocks, clunks etc, nice precise gear changes, and on track it feels like a lil go kart!

£1000 ovno takes it, which I feel is a fair price for the lil extras it has fitted, plus with some of the welding work that has already been carried out underneath.

See below, plenty of pictures, also thread I started on here about it - http://www.mkivsupras.com/vbb/showthread.php?333298-Out-of-the-blue-car-purchase&
