Supraleeturbo
i have a pal doing an na-t and he wants to know how to drill the oil return hole with out putting loads of shavings in sump, he knows he will have to drain the oil after also do you need a fuel pulsation damper as well ? many thanks
HarleyFDMD
Just do it very very slowly, if i was going to do it that way i would use a 'stepped' drill bit and probably have an air line blowing away the swarf as i drilled. The best way is obviously to remove the engine though so that you can then remove the sump to clean it out
HarleyFDMD
I think that would be safer than using a hole saw.. still not 100% safe though compared to removing the sump
