Thor
Paul, you can't run a stock ecu'd car day to day on 1.5 bar with pump fuel, be careful what you say as some of these boys will be going bang. The only reason you can run it is that your car runs less timing because you have a mappable ecu. A hybrid car with cams, mappable ecu will make 500 bhp. This is enough for most people, & when you take into account traction, it's more than enough. BTW you gains above 1.5 bar seem wrong. I would have expected at least 10 bhp per psi, so theres something not quite right. Miss fire?
Paul Whiffin
Yep I was talking about 1.5 bar on my set up, you can run something like 1.2/3 bar on std ECU though if the fuellings up to it. No missfire, running that sort of boost means you can't run very aggresive ignition advance so the gains aren't very big, thats what I found anyway. Could also be caused by restrictions in the std head, inlet, etc.
