jamesmark
Problem is they're reducing speed limits where it isn't warranted and average speed camera's going up, that is just to generate revenue, so no what you said about moaning isn't relevant. It is very relevant, as not one of us on this forum (well there might be) rights the law of the land. We may not agree with the law as we are being asked to slow down or not go over the mandated speed limit for that road. Whether we agree or disagree unfortunately the law is the law and moaning about or moaning about the fines is pointless. If you stick to the speed limit you will never be subject to the unfair justice people feel they receive when they are caught breaking the law for speeding. It could be worse, they could instant ban speeders and make you sit an extended test, or even more extreme crush your car.
el_bandido
I think people have every right to moan when speed limits are reduced and fines are set astronomically higher than they have ever previously been. Just because I don't make the rules, doesn't mean I have to like them. If people never had anything to say, we'd be living under a monarchy who ruled by divine right. jamesmark
You are a communist's dream. I prefer 'realist'. These new rules are not going to change how I drive, and if I am caught I will accept pay the fine and move on. More important things to worry about that paying a few pounds. Jamesy
prob is the speed limits are stupidly slow for modern cars. if they must insist on these ridiculous fines at least put the speed limit up to 90 or so. Autobahns in Germany seem to have it right

No one wants to admit they're conditioned but the truth is everyone is. The government has well and truly overstepped the mark

Whatever, I'll moan when I think, and know, it isn't justified what is happening. Keep up with your yes sir, three bags full sir, your choice. The government has well and truly overstepped the mark If it's in the name of 'green' or 'safety' people seem to lose all objectivity. I find it quite bizarre. This isn't aimed at anyone in particular on here. It's just something I've noticed on social media.
