boostman
It just keeps getting worse, I fix one thing and something else brakes! I had my timing belt and crank pully changed and now (dont know if it's a coincidence) I have a horrid noise at 4k rpm it also misfires user load at over 4k rpm and there is a constant cammy rattle. I'll attach a video Any help would be amazing Thanks http://cloud.tapatalk.com/s/58fba04267fd5/InShot_20170422_191933.mp4

Mike2JZ
Take a 22mm socket/spanner and turn the engine over until it's at TDC as marked on the crank pulley. Check that the cam pulleys are sitting at the correct position as marked on the timing cover. Just check that your timing is correct first. Are you getting any smoke from anywhere, or just noise? boostman
Iv done that and the timing is ok Have you seen the video? Can't think what the noise would be. And no, no smoke
Scooter
Did they change the tensioner and wheel when they did the cambelt?
boostman
Did they change the tensioner and wheel when they did the cambelt? Not the hydraulic tensioner just the wheel/bearing
SupraLEDrears
My brand new tensioner bracket snapped because the hydraulic tensioner was stuck. Press on your timing belt to see if it's tight. Also check your ps pump bolts didnt back out and grinding on the pulley.

Sounds much happier now, will give her a blast tomorrow and see if that did the trick

Didn't even think of it at first but then realised it's a non interfering head.
