Dave
For motorway driving it's a fuel saver 4K revs in D 3k revs in OD it's a no brainer
Dave
Could it be a sensor or relay ?
Dave
Done diagnostic on the auto box and no codes showing ,checked all the wiring still won't shift into OD I'm stuck
Chris Wilson
I would check the auto box oil level, correctly, engine running in Park, first.

Chris Wilson
The TPS setting is critical to many aspects of the engine and gear box control strategies. I hope you haven't twiddled any throttle stop screws as well??? You MUST reset the TPS sensor STRICTLY following the workshop manual. if you've twiddled throttle stop screws without a reference to return precisely to, you are in a pickle... The TPS being set wrong can and will affect the auto box control...

Ok set the TPS and revs are now steady at 650-700,put the original back on which I marked up before I took it off ,haven't touched the throttle stop screws, I read it's a no no .just got to take out for a test .
