jim
Welcome bud I went for a gen7 celica wheel, I love how it looks - I thought about a snap off wheel but like the oem-ish look, fitted a hidden kill switch for added security and I use a big yellow disc-loc when parked in belfast as a visual deterrent (in a locked car park lol, better safe than sorry )
Big Mark
- Toyota Decuma grey respray - eBay full dash ring kit - Metal Monkey brushed aluminium dash faces - Blue LED conversion - EL Panel main cluster back lighting - Noz heater knobs - Momo Millenium steering wheel - Paddle shift Neo carbon - Isotta handbrake cover - Nodalmighty Oled dash display http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d119/Delboy52/Supra/2016_10_23_0770_zpsp7vghuhi.jpg Love the look of your dash Mike. Am I right in thinking that with the lights turned off your dials aren't illuminated or does the EL Panel illuminate them when off as well as on? Thomas.B
I will be repainting my car in bmw carbon black this fall, I am wondering if I should paint the dash in the same color or dress it in black suede as my steering wheel. (It has a few holes from the precious owner and a faulty alarm that I removed) Plans in the future will be do dress everything inside in black leather so don't know what route to go. Any ideas? Delboy52
Love the look of your dash Mike. Am I right in thinking that with the lights turned off your dials aren't illuminated or does the EL Panel illuminate them when off as well as on? Cheers Mark. Yep, my dash dials illuminate the same way they did from the factory (when the sidelights/main beam are switched on). The dash faces have a blue (mph) and amber (km/h) film backing that gives the colour. The EL panel is a white light which provides a consistant coverage of illumination with no hot spots or dull edges. Can cut it to whatever shape you need. [video=youtube;iR-pARN3tLw] Hey delboy what dials are those that you have got and how did you do all the blue dash and Speedo's lights please I used http://www.metal-monkey.co.uk natural silver steel faced ones with electric blue outer and orange inner colour backing from a long time ago, but I think Noz and MAD Designs sell them too now. For the LED dash light conversion Heckler put together a great guide. http://www.internetwork.org.uk/led_guide/led.htm The main site: http://www.internetwork.org.uk/supra.htm
