Chris Bailey
Also for exhaust which one would you guys recommend? HKS, Blitz, Whifbitz. Bearing in mind you're N/A it will be "very" loud especially if you double decat it. Depends if that's your kind of thing!

I'm going Japan in November too, would it be better to source parts direct from there? or its similar prices?

A double decat n/a is louder

ripped_fear
Both of those first decats are for a tt, the na is a y shape with a flex joint. I had my old na double decatted with a wifbitz twin box system all pipe work was 2.5" and tbh the car was to quiet. I think the same set up with a single box woukd be a nice way to go. Regarding the induction kit and oem box with a k&n does the trick nicely. If your looking to add power try finding a pre programed ecu like the mines, again i had one of these and made the car much more responsive mid range. Burna
None. KnN panel filter on the stock air box I disagree I'm afraid. Stock Toyota paper filter will be better. The only reason the K&N panel filter flows more air is because of one reason, less filtration.

Burna
nah go with no air filter.... wont last long but will get more power in the little time it does last Hahahaha and it will sound mental!!! I actually did that once by accident on my old Cupra R. The inlet pipe had split massively, and was just sucking unfiltered air out of the engine bay straight into the turbo. It sounded amazing! Turbo flutter the lot lol Ran it like that for awhile as I didn't realise, and it was just the daily beater. Luckily it got written off in a rear end smash, but the engine was knackered when my mechanic bought it back from the insurance :/ Oops!
