whitz
Yes the title is correct this will be the build log as such for the cummins powered supra Few pics as it sits at my work, currently in the compound next to the rovaru not much left inside but fine for me will be stripped and caged up 3.23 open diff off a LS430 in the back with prop etc too recon's LS400 4 pot front calipers Going by my Guesstimations (the best kind) im betting the LS400 (307mm) discs will fit with these celica ST205 2 pot calipers, share the same discs bar 0.5/1mm thickness difference and use the same pads as the supra so will be somewhere close Mtec drilled grooved discs with black coating as the cars theme will be black on black When you dont want to drive the van so you turn up to a really nice area in your workhorse and strap a bonnet to the roof and go home via the M6:sly: Ash

sebas
Which cummins engine do you planning to use? 6BT with twin turbo would be interesting, but that more like rat rod style lump.

whitz
update from weekend, half cage built, decided against a full cage due to dash bar and my bad joints i suspect i wouldn't be able to get back out feels like something is missing Joys of handy places Good friend scott giving a hand on these stupid ideas of mine exo skeleton? nah main hoop in and side brace rear bars in with harness bar start of bucket seat mounts onto the floor engine mount spreader places welded onto the front legs to help stop the engine ripping it to bits Ash

whitz
Had 1 day over the weekend due to shows so pretty rushed Before pic of under arhc just for reference and show what i started with one box full of brake parts for the rear, solid +flexi hell lines Mtec discs blacked handbrake shoes and fitting kit Dropped the rear subframe to clean and paint it up (havent got time to get it blasted and coated) upper arms where polybushed which was a bonus Mostly all stripped down 2 arm stuck in place (camber bolt seized to bush and centre turned) will sort out at a later date doing the under side section by section one medium layer all over for a nice finish then doubled up on the seams to give it a really nice finish subframe coated heavily in paint after being de rusted like all the arms etc assembled wet so got covered in the stuff, not the prettiest but will need some touch ups Ls400 rear shafts are too long and jammed up hard into the diff so will have to shorten and sleeve like i did on the fiat Quick test fit of the ST205 2 pot rear calipers to make sure they bolt up (which they do) with stock dics, annoyingly the temp wheels do not fit so taken back off but ive still got to order in handbrake cables (was broken) and fit all the handbrake items when they arrive Ash
whitz
Havent updated in a metric age but il throw a few up as forum is being abit nicer un upload sizes quite an old pic with wheels on before bodycut and other items and paint engine mocked up in place with ats manifold and hx40w turbo top mounted rear end with towbar and wiring in place, anderson connector hidden under numberplate having a boot build/box in for all the air ride and battery setup so its out of the way pair of 019 batterys random pic of inside the car after tunnel all made up and various other items 3/8" airlift 3P management and universal 5" bags + sleeves along with various poly bushes and brackets various suspension parts engine mounts and dash bar just out of the powdercoat oven just because i can test run of the engine to check for oilpressure and no issues, since removed to finish the tunnel welding and a tune up
