JamieP
I'd rather your K8 over RC8R any day, but it is nice to have various bikes. I want a big tourer in the fleet now, fancy an R1200GS

Jellybean
Have a few weeks on the Bike , my god lads , as a petrol head you have to get a Bike! Acceleration , speed and what you can get away with as opposed to a in a car here is ridicolous. I love the Bug has started New CNC Racing Parts arrived! Was busy again this evening
pedrosixfour
How does it sound on the Termi's Carlo? Any noticeable improvements (or flat spots for that matter) in the power delivery?
Jellybean
How does it sound on the Termi's Carlo? Any noticeable improvements (or flat spots for that matter) in the power delivery? It sounds alot deeper , grumble, loud but a nice loud! Everybody hears you before you are coming , go through town or a built up area everybody wants you to rev it Small 3-5 year old childern love it lol just stop and stare , the induction on the carbs sounds fantastic , pops and bags from the air box on over run and some out the exhaust , really happy with it As she is on carbs and these are slip-on's to the link pipes , no fettling is required with jets but I am sure you could optimise it a bit more In terms of performance , to be honest she seems quicker , bit more instant , keeps on pulling but I am not too sure if this is the combination of the increased sound adding to the illusion , but she is happier with the open exhaust
pedrosixfour
Loud pipes save lives! But you're right there is a nice loud and then there is silly loud. I can do both but I leave the baffle in. There is no harm in being able to be discreet when it's called for. P1ssing off the (nice) neighbours just ain't worth it. Now, having said that, I fancy whipping the baffle out before I head home. It's been a while and the sun is shining.
