chris2o2
Hi folks, Long time owner here, the time has come to sell and I'm unsure of what it's now worth. I bought my JDM TT auto from here many moons ago and it's now time to move it on as I just don't use it anymore unless I have to. I refused to sell it for many years as I didn't want it to go but I've come to realize that its wasting away out there. The car is a 93 JDM Auto TT with about 118,000 miles on the clock. The bodywork looks great from ten foot but up close you can see the issues with it, rusty archs, rear window and a good few scuffs and small scraps here and there. The cars has some nice wheels, four Eagle F1's, RLTC, nur spec, oem recaros and a mines ecu. The oil valve stem seals were done in the last thousand miles by a local subaru specialist also. I've been told the prices are climbing but I wanted to re-join here and find out exactly.
Scooter
Well the cheapest 2 auto tt's currently for sale are £10K and £11K and they don't look all that tbh.
uzzyuzzy
I would be asking for 12.5k and taking a near offer.
j_jza80
I'd be fixing the rust issues, and sticking it up for £13k. Though I would probably get the wheels re done in silver (or find some stock wheels) It's an unmolested, stock body TT in one of the most desirable colours. If you aren't going to fix these issues, expect £10k.
chris2o2
I was going to stick it on ebay and set a reserve of 5K
j_jza80
That would have been very silly BTW, I'm not saying you would necessarily get £13k, but it's a good starting point (IF you get the rust sorted, people on the whole don't like buying rusty cars)

I won't be arguing over a few hundred quid, I would like it to go to someone who will look after it and get it back to the standard it should be at. - - - Updated - - - I'll give you that today.. sold! rider
I'd suggest sorting the rusty arches and tailgate out first if you want £12.5k otherwise you are likely to get very few people making the trek to view. Shouldn't set you back more than £1k and prevent possible disappointment for viewers and you may even be able to recoup some of the cost in a slightly higher price. People don't usually like paying near top price for a car that is not near perfect.
