hi, selling my gs300 2jz ge block, came out my running gs300 which had no problems, no oil or water burned etc, it was a mint running engine.

sat side by side with a gte block it'll be almost identical now

comes with crank, ge pistons and rods, it's a vvti engine, also has main caps included

crank and bores are in great condition, block could do with being hot tanked to clean it up

it has had the machine work done to match a gte, so it has the 6x oil squirters drilled out, the gallery opened up behind oil pump and also the twin turbo oil feeds have been machined onto the face of the block,

when you blast an air line down them they come out behind the oil pump so all will work

i can also throw in 6x used squirters if i can find them

i had planned to use this block with a turbo head or a 1jz head on my supra but i've been offered a full 2j gte so i'm likely just going to buy that so i can swap it all over in a weekend and have no engine building time to hold up the car as i'm desperate to keep it on the road

the cheap option is to throw in a set of £100 gte used pistons and some bearings and away you go, or alternatively use forged rods and pistons :D

the block was machined correctly by a company in scotland

more pics will be available on request but it's all oiled and wrapped up for safe storage inside the house

Worth mentioning that the 2JZGE VVTI has thinner rods than the 2JZGE which has the same rods as a 2JZGTE.

yeah and annoyingly i threw a set of ge rods in the bin from a non vvt would you believe :S

however i'm sure anyone buying this would be using gte rod/piston setup anyway or an aftermarket rod as the pistons would keep you at an above 10 compression ratio anyway

Your right it would be cost effective to stick some other Rods/Pistons in for FI purposes.

this is a good buy if any of you are struggling to swallow the price of a proper 2JZGTE.

Vvti ge blocks have something that the normal ge blocks don't which make these the best option for na t upgrades. Good luck with the sale.

it's more bracing down the webbing of the block isn't it? along where it meets the sump?
