You're just a KiNKY GUY who loves talking about Fluid exCHANGES

:p

Yeah, know what you mean, If I ever bleed brakes I always 'bleed'

the whole lot of fluid thru' anyway - might as well ? ! it only means

using 1 or 2 litres instead of 1/2 - 1 litre anyway !

im an advocate of full uk setup, but lately ive driven a set of jspec brakes with good fluid and race pads (for the first time) and i can honestly say its a complete transformation. much more so that i ever imagined was possible. i think its nearly as good as a full uk setup, less unsprung weight too, and alot cheaper. ive not got them to fade yet but they do squeal like hell. the uk setup looks much better behind the wheels tho.

is this every part number you need to go with uk spec,could ask toyota about a group buy discount see if they knock much off the price. he told me before he cant do group buys on japanese spec parts only on uk items.

** UK Left Rear Calliper 47750-14280 £247.16 excluding VAT **

and, nobody knows why the Left Rear one is an odd price ? ?:conf:

Has it got an odd/different pipe connections or something ? ?:conf:

or, is it just Eastern-to-Western price cock-up ?:music:

(we've had thet at work with Kia parts - £175 for a Timing Belt,

but £3.50 for a complete set of Main Bearings ? ! ? dealer says

it's definitely translation/conversion problems but he didn't care ?)

THANKS for all the info so far lads....:thumbs:

ANYONE got any pics of the Jap'brakes and/or the UK brakes

(ON car / OFF car - anything - just like to see it all before I start)

Yes, but in the grand scheme of things - hub, disc, wheel, tyre - not a lot. A fixed four pot always beats a sliding caliper, and the pad area is quite a bit larger aswell. My vote says UK.

yes i agree, i was so amazed at how good the jspec brakes could b made, for little outlay.
