TT Paul
does it get all the dirt off though??
peter richards
dont expect miracles its only a pre wash stage , see so many people complain that the car is still dirty after using it . what it does is soften the crap up thats on there so by the time your ready to wash with dont forget two buckets and a mitt , any crap thats still there is now soft and you dont rub to remove it then not marking the paintwork

Although if your car has been clayed, polished, waxed then snowfoaming it pretty much removes everything I've found in between major washes. I'm almost tempted to just dry it off after as it's so clean but I'm super paranoid about something being left on. But mine only does small mileage in between washes as it hasn't been out that much lately.
jim
They're great during winter for daily drivers when the car gets particularly dirty between washes, don't use mine as frequently during the summer. I generally snow foam but don't rinse and go straight to washing with the mit and bucket
Sheefa
It's great stuff. Two coats of snow foam here and rinsed inbetween before full cleaning commences. Highly recommend it.

Mk4Gaz
I've started using a pump sprayer, and diluted citrus pre wash. Getting the pressure washer out can be a real ball ache, as it always seems to be buried in the garage!
jim
Worth it for the smell of the tutti-fruity snow foam alone tho

berg
I have one of these but i never use it Its such a ball ache getting the jet wash out and setting everything up for what little benefits you get, ive never had good results with snow foam In my opinion of course

Guest James-Supra
Dad purchased the karcher one the other day. Not impressed and also not impressed with the k4 machine itself either. Lancer has to nearly be touching the car to get light dirt off.
peter richards
domestic karchers arnt very good , unless you go to the top domestic look for brass pumps then you have a chance all the smallwer ones are a wste of money . all i have ever used is karcher but i use the HD models
m4dsup
I have an autobrite one that I bought at full price a few years ago. It started playing up so I stripped it fully and cleaned it out. Having bought a second one off of eBay for about £11, I can tell you that they're identical. I wouldn't bother buying a "branded" one. They aren't branded physically and as far as I can see, just bought in bulk from china a resold. Thumbs up for the eBay ones though.
ellis
Bought this following this thread and used it today. Foams up a treat even with my cheap and nasty Karcher! Before, during, rinsed and dried pics below.
