mellonman
Turbo oil seal maybe but you would of noticed clouds of smoke out the back to loose it in 700 miles
samm
What mileage has the engine done?
Jellybean
Easily could be wear n tear Need to check but it is around 170,000 km I replaced main perishable items (seals) , would you really need to refresh piston rings , I would expect signs of smoke Might be the baffles in the after market valve covers too Edited March 25, 2017 by Jellybean (see edit history)
Jellybean
Turbo oil seal maybe but you would of noticed clouds of smoke out the back to loose it in 700 miles That's my thinking too, or least have a noticeable leak She's pulling like a train Edited March 25, 2017 by Jellybean (see edit history)

Hitbox Junkie
Top it up and keep a eye on it? Maybe check it everyone you go out until you find the leak or it doesn't leak anymore? But surely you would notice the smoke or oil stains
Jellybean
Top it up and keep a eye on it? That's what I did , took her out for a spin and a few pulls , waiting for it to cool down to dip her She's running great , every feels normal , no smoke , strange smells Might be those after market valve covers , rear an exits do sit low I know sitting up doesn't help seals either
Mike2JZ
Get someone to follow you. Then go WOT and they can tell you if any smoke. Normally quite hard to see from side mirrors unless you are chucking out smoke. What condition is your oil in, is it black? Any smell? Fuchs red , no smell , cams are covered in fuchs red inside the valve cover O ring on the dip stick might be worth changing
