I'm trying to figure out that picture John have you just taken it from roughly where the drivers side headlight is ?

If so then i think you don't quite have it right. You need to attach the output from your solenoid to where that black hose is in the pic on the actuator and block (cap) where your blue hose is coming out of the actuator.

Martin

spot on with the location of camera , the blue hose is on the upper part of the actuator , so i move it to the one underneath and cap the upper ???? what about the other end of the hose on the lower part of the actuator , cap that??. the other hose out of the solenoid is attatched where the original hose from the upper outlet on the actuator went , is that right ???

I think you have that pretty much correct in your post.

the blue hose is on the upper part of the actuator , so i move it to the one underneath and cap the upper ???? - Yep

what about the other end of the hose on the lower part of the actuator , cap that??. - Yep, that comes originally from a VSV and the VSV is fed from some of the small pipes coming across the top of the turbo's. Cap this, mine is done before the VSV, and the hose from the VSV to the actuator removed.

the other hose out of the solenoid is attatched where the original hose from the upper outlet on the actuator went , is that right ??? - Not sure on your description here, but the input to the solenoid comes from a nipple on the side of the compressor housing of the front turbo.

I'll try to dig up a picture. If you're under the bonnet tomorrow and trying to figure it out call me on my mobile.

Thanks Martin thats how ive got mine setup now , funny thing is ive just had to fit my new chromed heatshield (thanks again dude) so i thought i would run the motor to check all ok before redoing the solenoid from my pic to how martin shows it and the car flooded and wouldnt start(its running rough anyway cause it needs setting up for the new injectors) i took the plugs out and cleaned them , car started but wouldnt rev and engine symbol on dash came on , reset ECU same thing , redid the solenoid routing ala Martin car started and ran fine just a bit lumpy on idle , strange , connected or not .
