Al Massey
A minority refers to a category of people who are different to the majority. Or you can say.. Several thousands of retards, in a population of 1.6+ billion people is a minority. But they are not Muslim, Islam does not condone this, this is not Islam. Yes it is a minority, but it is still a significant amount. Several thousand? id be more inclined to say several hundred thousand or closer to 1 million. That isn't a small minority, and we aren't just counting the actual terrorists who committed the act. There are people in the background, people on the internet, people on the streets, people who condone and support this behaviour whilst living in a western country. And please stop saying they are not Muslims, its very clear they are. It is also clear that they think it is YOU who are not true Muslims. I really wish people would stop trying to defend these terrorists by claiming they don't follow a specific religion or faith. They believe they are, they believe they are doing gods work and they believe they will meet their maker.
j_jza80
Several thousands of retards, in a population of 1.6+ billion people is a minority. If we're talking worldwide, I would guess we would be talking several million. But yes, still a minority of the one and a half billion. There have reportedly been several hundred thousand in Syria alone during the civil war. When you look at the likes of Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Morocco, Boko Haram, Gaza etc, it's clearly more than a few thousand. But they are not Muslim, Islam does not condone this, this is not Islam. And I'm sure Jesus would have been appalled by all of the horrors committed in his name over the centuries. But people interpret things in their own ways. The many sects of Islam today are testament to this too, especially the Sunni / Shia divide. And the problem with these books (the bible, koran etc) is that they were written for a different time, they all endorse discrimination, violence, and other acts which are completely unacceptable in modern society. Frank Bullitt
It's the same excuse that lunatics claiming to represent all religions hide behind. Take the relevant "good" book, which was only ever intended to improve society. Then twist, warp and generally p1ssed all over anything that facilitates your need to hate, punish and kill anything and anyone that doesn't fit your interpretation of a worthy person. It's pathetic and it's easy to see that this mindset needs to be erased from modern society. It's the how that we will struggle with for years to come. I was chatting with a Muslim friend of mine last night which is why I asked. He isn't particularly religious but mentioned something about Sword verses being what they use as it mentions something about oppression and persecution is worse than slaughter. I was hoping someone with more interest and knowledge than him go post up. If there is something like this in the Quran I can see how these nutters use it to their advantage. Richie_k83
Minority or not, it only takes a 1 lunatic to cause so much damage. How many people did it take on the 7/7 Bomings to cause so much damage, 9/11 too..? Props to our armed Police for neutralising the threat as quickly as they did. These extremists need weeding out and hanging from Tower Bridge.....
