Spunkmeyer
I've only seen 2ways or Torsions in the last week
SPG
Which small case diff mate? A01B, 2B?
Spunkmeyer
LSD (so 2/3B) not 1B which is Torsion - if I recall the advice I've received recently, as I'm after a lower ratio too
SPG
I'm fairly certain the A01B is LSD, maybe it's the A01A you are thinking of. If it's a TT lump you're running then the A01B makes for an interesting drive, but the A02B is much more usable. If it's a NA engine then the W58 mated to the A01B is one of my favourite combos. A02B would work also but it won't help with regards to lower ratios.
Spunkmeyer
I have the 1A open diff on my auto. But I have a W58 conversion. I understood from the search button - 1B is torsion not LSD. It's for track use so I don't want drifty
Scooter
All the 'B' refs are "Torsen" torque sensing limited slip diffs the only ones that came as standard from the factory. So A01B, A02B, A03B etc etc are all the same type of lsd. you need to look at the new Zealand Mkiv Supra specs page via google it shows all the diff ref's a their ratios wheel teeth etc etc.

Frank Bullitt
A01B has a 4.083:1 ratio A02B has a 3.769:1 ratio A03B has a 3.266:1 ratio E2A I believe the W58 used the 4.083:1 ratio but these are as rare as hen's teeth in B diff or LSD.
Spunkmeyer
Thanks I'm after a lower ratio so a 2B or 3B as I originally suggested, but I appreciate the explanation over torsions.
Frank Bullitt
I believe James had a W58 on a TT with an A02B. Might be worth while taking with him to get some input before deciding on this or the A03B.
