boostman
Hi all, Recently my na has been using more fuel, around 40 miles less per tank. Could this be dirty / old lambda sensors? Has anyone ever had success cleaning them and if so what did they do? I've read people soak them in petrol? Any advice welcome! zaheer0027
you can soak the sensor in lemon juice overnight to soften the dirt and then wipe it with a rag.
Dnk
Maybe sounds silly but check none of your brake calipers are beginning to seize, especially if they're the sliding carrier type and they've not been refurbished yet

I ll try the lemon juice lol What about vinegar?
boostman
So I put some new lambda sensors in and it's still using more fuel than normal, Is the coolant temp sensor for the ecu the same sensor that feeds the gauge in the dash? It's reads fine, just below half way. Any ideas of what to check?
